Our Ms. Siobhan Haughey：J&K HIM Sze Sze 


Over the past five years, Hong Kong has experienced many heartbreaking and distressing events, from social movements to the global pandemic, leading to a buildup of negative emotions among the populace.


However, during the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, Hong Kong's "Flying Fish," Ms. Siobhan Haughey, brought a moment of exhilaration to the city by winning two silver medals. As a local with Irish heritage, she had the option to represent Ireland but chose to represent Hong Kong instead. In her media interview following her victories, she expressed:





"People have often asked me why I don’t represent Ireland. I remember my teammates were always surprised to learn I was representing Hong Kong. I told them I could choose to represent Ireland, but I was born in Hong Kong, I live in Hong Kong, and I am always connected to Hong Kong. I feel proud to represent Hong Kong."


Additionally, she shared her thoughts on facing setbacks:


"You'll encounter a lot of challenges along the way. But always remember the big picture and never forget about your goals. Everyone makes mistakes. What sets successful people apart is their willingess to pick up whats left and keep moving forward."


In light of this environment, our cat, J&K HIM Sze Sze, was born, and we named her Sze Sze. We hope for her to achieve outstanding accomplishments in the future while reminding us to hold onto a spirit of resilience and perseverance as we move forward.

我們的何詩蓓：詩詩




過去五年間香港發生了很多令人痛心和憂傷的事情，由香港的社會運動，到全球的新冠肺炎，令得大家累積了不少負面情緒。



直到2021年東京奧運會，香港「女飛魚」何詩蓓小姐，贏得兩面奧運銀牌，帶給全港市民一個振奮的時刻。一個土生土長的愛爾蘭混血兒，本可以代表愛爾蘭出賽，但她獲奬後訪問中，這様回應傳媒：


「從小到大都有人在問我為何不代表愛爾蘭，記得隊友知道我代表香港時總是驚訝。我告訴她們，我可以選擇代表愛爾蘭，但我出生於香港，住在香港，與香港總是連繫著，我為代表香港感到自豪。」



此外，她對挫拆的看法和回應：

「一路上你會遇到很多挑戰。但永遠記住大局，永遠不要忘記你的目標。每個人都會犯錯。成功人士的與眾不同之處在於他們願意拿起剩下的東西並繼續前進。」


我們貓舍的J&K HIM Sze Sze，在這環境氣氛下出世了，我們命名她為詩詩，寄望她將來有出色的表現同時，提醒我們要懐著百拆不撓的信念，繼續走下去，香港人，加油！

A Cat That Is No Longer With Us LayLay (J&K HIM LAY LAY) was a cat that is no longer with us. He was one of the four cats: SiSi , DorDor, BearBear, and LayLay. After his birth, LayLay was very weak. Although the mother cat was experienced and skilled at raising kittens, frequently exposing her belly for the kittens to nurse, LayLay was so weak that he couldn't even muster the strength to crawl to her nipples to feed. We could only watch helplessly as nature took its course, or attempt to save him by tube feeding, as per the literature. Although we had prior experience with tube feeding, it was always a nerve-wracking process because one wrong placement into the lungs could be fatal within a day. Tube feeding required feeding every few hours, and under severe sleep deprivation, ensuring zero mistakes was crucial to keep him alive. From Adopted Cat to Having CFA Division Winner Titl e After a few years of downturn, everyone can gradually coexist with the COVID19 virus in 2021-2022. We continue to work hard to live as usual, and survive and grow from the cracks. This is the attitude and belief of Hong Kong People all along   The J&K HIM Cattery in Hong Kong also holds this belief. This year, we have received special attention from the heavens to cheer us on our breeding path. we are honor to announce J&K HIM Jer Jer won the title of Grand Premiership in One Show competition, becoming the second cat of the "One Show Grand" for our cattery. In addition, J&K HIM Jer Jer became the first cat in our cattery to be awarded the title of "CFA Division Winner".
